Maggy Miller Vocational Scholarship

The NSSED Foundation is pleased to announce the establishment of the Maggy Miller Vocational Scholarship in loving memory of Maggy Miller, who touched the lives of so many during her too short time, and will always be remembered for her warm smile and sense of grace.

This unique scholarship provides a job training opportunity to a young adult who has graduated from an NSSED or District Transition Program.  The $5,000 scholarship is designed to allow an individual to capitalize on their abilities and develop clerical skills that can transfer to future employment in the community.  One recipient will be selected to perform office support duties on a part time basis at the NSSED District Services Center from January through December, 2012.

Completed applications are due no later than Friday, December 02, 2011.
